Making it Personal
End User Competitive Advantage
I quickly learned from the end users at WellRight that wellness is a personal journey, while most competitors tried to put everyone on the same path. To make WellRight stand out, we created features never before seen in the wellness industry, such as Personal Challenges that allowed end users to create their own challenges, text tracking that allowed users to receive alerts, reply, and get credit (this was especially beneficial for large industrial enterprise customers with employees who didn't sit at a computer all day), and suggested university courses based on their Health Risk Assessment.

Created and designed the Challenge Wizard, which allowed Admins to create custom Challenges and Programs either from scratch or using pre-configured, editable content

Created and designed the Communications Tool, enabling admins to create custom emails or texts targeting specific users using numerous filters on users uploaded from an eligibility file. This eliminated the need for additional lists and uploads.
Customizable but Really Configurations
Admin Competitive Advantage
From my years in technology, I learned how challenging it was to implement changes in Development, especially when managing numerous versions for each client. My goal when creating this product was to give the appearance of a fully customized solution for each instance, while actually using configurable settings that Admins could manage. This approach allowed us to maintain a single version of the product, which was crucial for the QA team and significantly increased our speed to market. Customers benefited as well; they no longer had to wait for new features and could make changes on their own. Our multi-tenant approach proved to be highly effective, especially for direct enterprise employers with multiple locations. It had a significant impact in the health industry, where Health Systems, Health Plans, TPAs, Brokers, Benefit Consultants, and Resellers became our core clients.

Innovation Solutions
Designing & Implementing Features
During my tenure at WellRight, Inc., I noticed many companies had health coaches who were using spreadsheets or other coaching platforms in addition to WellRight's solution. Realizing there was no wellness solutions provider with an integrated coaching platform, I took the initiative to create one in iterative stages. Based on feedback from the initial releases, it became clear that we needed to add a scheduler feature, so we added that too.

Product Strategy
Increasing Product Revenue
This is from an assignment I was given. My task was to exhibit my marketing and product strategy skills to generate additional revenue and grow the product by creating a presentation on a hypothetical product strategy for a made-up company, and to demonstrate my approach and thought process.

Roadmaps are Fundamental
Internal Roadmap
It is important to not only have an external roadmap, but have an internal roadmap that is inline with the company goals. This is a sample internal roadmap that was updated and distributed to all stakeholders on a monthly basis. It shows recent, upcoming, and future features, including items that might not necessary be things customers need or want to know about. As you can see there are colored dots associated with each feature to communicate how this feature aligns with product vision and company goals.

Always Expanding the Product
EdTech
At WellRight, I spearheaded WellRight University, a comprehensive learning platform featuring educational videos and quizzes. Beyond curating a complete library, I developed an Admin panel enabling clients to upload their courses, managing their content effectively. This expansion significantly boosted revenue and became a standout feature. I led initial specifications, oversaw medical reviews, established medical review cadence and process, and managed our in-house content team. Additionally, we orchestrated a successful partnership with a third-party provider to integrate additional content.
